(21A) – Play/writing/acting Alert – Good news to share about Sunday 5/27/18-
(1) A 9-minute scene I wrote called “His Sister’s Message” (that combines drama, comedy, magic realism and spirituality) will be included in the staged readings in a playwrights/actors workshop of the Axial Theatre (www.axialtheatre.org) on Sunday 5/27/18 at St. John’s Episcopal Church (88 Sunnyside Avenue, Pleasantville, NY) from 1 to 3pm.  My scene will be read aloud by 3 experienced actors/writers and i will have the opportunity of watching/hearing my piece differently.  If you are a writer and want to attend these readings, please call me ASAP for arrangements – limited seats.
(2) I will be reading the part of a character in the reading of a scene by another playwright. The character is multidimensional, at times quite funny, and a key component of the scene. I’m honored to read with this other playwright’s work and with  this group.
xoxo

(22) Sunday 6/10/18 – 1 to 3pm – Reading in Pleasantville of the first 2 scenes of  “Trans Fran Sisco’s Life Revue” with the Axial Theatre Group in Pleasantville (St. John’s Episcopal Church, located at 8 Sunnyside Ave., 10570).

Email to various friends on 6/5/18 – 1:05am From Fran Sisco – Sunday 6/10/18 – My “Trans Fran Sisco – Life Revue” will be one of the readings with the Axial Theatre Group in Pleasantville (St. John’s Episcopal Church, located at 8 Sunnyside Ave., 10570).

Hi Friends –
Good news is that I just found out that the first two scenes of my musical (that I am writing) called “Trans Fran Sisco’s Life Revue” will be read this Sunday, and I will read the part of Fran with other actors reading the other parts.  (Two Sundays ago, my scene called “His Sister’s Message” that is about the imminent return of Jesus, was read by 3 very good actors, with lots of feedback from the other playwrights and actors.) This is a very big opportunity for me because of the caliber of these writers/actors and their connections, and the input I will be getting to help shape my musical.
Please let me know if you want to come and watch/listen. (I think about 5 guests will be allowed due to the limitations on seating).  The reading starts at 1pm sharp and goes until about 3pm. I will be going early at about 11:30am.
Please call me rather than email, because I will be traveling to/from Virginia from Wednesday morning through late Friday night, and often away from emails but not away from a voicecall.
Would love it if you could come.
Thanks,
Fran Sisco
cell 914.589.1013
P.S. If you want to see the script beforehand, let me know and I can send it to you.
