(1) A 9-minute scene I wrote called “His Sister’s Message” (that combines drama, comedy, magic realism and spirituality) will be included in the staged readings in a playwrights/actors workshop of the Axial Theatre (www.axialtheatre.org) on Sunday 5/27/18 at St. John’s Episcopal Church (88 Sunnyside Avenue, Pleasantville, NY) from 1 to 3pm. My scene will be read aloud by 3 experienced actors/writers and i will have the opportunity of watching/hearing my piece differently. (2) I will be reading the part of a character in the reading of a scene by another playwright. The character is multidimensional, at times quite funny, and a key component of the scene. I’m honored to read with this other playwright’s work and with this group.

(25) 8/23/18 – Thursday night, At a meeting of the Brazen Giant Ensemble (actors, directors, writers, filmmakers) (Macdougal Street, NYC at the Player’s Theatre), I performed one of the scenes from a play in development (being written by Claude Solnik and myself). The scene showed me as an 11 year old boy who dressed up as a girl and for the first time went into daytime broad dayight -at a beach town in Rhode Island, and almost “got caught” by family members.

Fictional sketch – Fran will perform a very funny comedy sketch, with Valentina Ferrante, playing a helpful but angry ex-wife Denise as Fran tries to adopt to a new life as a trans girl in the Witness Protection Program, an extreme measure in order to escape Big Anthony, the top mob boss, and his retribution for Fran’s ratting on him.

In additional to stand-up comedy, Trans Fran Sisco will perform a very funny comedy sketch, with Valentina Ferrante, playing a helpful but angry ex-wife Denise as Fran tries to adopt to a new life as a trans girl in the Witness Protection Program, an extreme measure in order to escape Big Anthony, the top mob boss, and his retribution for Fran’s ratting on him. Fran will also be performing a song with Regina Elizabeth King and Arda (live sax).

5/29 – (1) Acted scene on Wednesday 5/29/19 at 8pm sharp (seating at 7:30pm) at Axial Theatre, 8 Sunnyside Ave. (at St. John’s Episcopal Church), Pleasantville, NY 10570. No fee although donations to the theatre are accepted. Scene from Fran Sisco’s play called “Once A Boy” is the scene “Kelly, Lorrie and Frank Argue” which will be acted by actors from Axial Theatre and elsewhere. There will be four other scenes as part of the “Playwriting Workshop, led by David Adam Gill” at Axial Theatre.














Had to cancel this below event, because I made a trip to Las Vegas to watch my film “Happy Trans Girl Like Me” and my friend Brad Forenza’s film that I was in (Awakening Arlene) and we both won awards at the Black Tie Awards Dinner and Show on 7/31/19.
